Kettle Tutorial

 Kettle Tutorial

took a screenshot of the file (thats why its super pixelated)

scaled holding shift extend line both ways and trim
After tracing, used curve tool- Adjustable curve blend, clicked one line then the next to connect
Pipe tool
used under curve tools- change degree to bend top line lid handle
used revolve
extruded line to make a cut into the 3d render

Fillet edges on top, top and bottom edges inside and outside

Inititially had issues capping and shell but it was because I didnt have the pipe initial curve joined together- Used solid tools- Cap planar holes
control shift to select specific lines and move them
split cylinders in half using a line, had it sometimes cut into 3 parts when using blend surface(under surface tools) tool it would be twisted but then I just used perspective and connected another line to split with.

connected using planar srf
Overall this tutorial helped me see how to work when putting pieces together using front/ perspective moving parts so you can see it and moving it exactly back by using measurements. Using fillets and lines instead of curving it yourself so you have more accuracy and it looks natural.
